Opening Job Opportunities at HFUT

●“Hubing Scholar”GradeⅠPosition

Qualifications

The applicants are expected to have had made systematic and creative accomplishments and contributions in the field of science and technology, or important and creative accomplishments and contributions in the area of engineering science and technology.

Salaries/ Benefits

The job title of the position is Professor/Researcher and Ph.D. supervisor. The salary provided by HFUT is 1,200,000 to 1,400,000 RMB (pre-tax) per annum. This position is also entitled to other performance incentive policies.

The following benefits package will be provided by HFUT:

(1) In the first employment period, a sufficient research fund shall be provided of which the amount shall be negotiated.

(2) In the first employment period, a sufficient settle-in fee shall be provided of which the amount shall be negotiated.

(3) Accommodation for experts shall be arranged for living.

(4) The university may assist in arranging your spouse’s job and children’s school enrollment upon request.

●“Hubing Scholar”GradeⅡPosition

Qualifications

The applicants are expected to have had made important accomplishments that were recognized by their international peers. The applicants are expected to have the capability to lead their disciplines to catch up or become world-class disciplines. With rather strong leadership and coordination skills, the applicants are expected to lead the research team to collaborate in making the breakthroughs. The successful candidates are expected younger than 55 years old.

Salaries/ Benefits

The job title of the position is Professor/Researcher and Ph.D. supervisor. The salary provided by HFUT is 1,000,000 RMB (pre-tax) per annum. This position is also entitled to other performance incentive policies.

The following benefits package will be provided by HFUT:

(1) In the first employment period, a sufficient research fund shall be provided of which the amount shall be negotiated.

(2) In the first employment period, a settle-in fee of 2,600,000 RMB (pre-tax) shall be provided.

The job title of the position is Professor/Researcher and Ph.D. supervisor. The salary provided by HFUT is 700,000 RMB (pre-tax) per annum. This position is also entitled to other performance incentive policies.

The job title of the position is Professor/Researcher and Ph.D. supervisor. The salary provided by HFUT is 500,000 RMB (pre-tax) per annum. This position is also entitled to other performance incentive policies.

●“Huangshan Scholar”Special-Term Professor position

Qualifications

This position is for introduced talents only. The applicants are expected have had teaching and research-related jobs for more than three years continually after acquiring their Ph.D. degrees. Or they are expected to have been working in the universities, research institutes, or other places with the position of professor in the universities of China/ with the permanent teaching position in the universities outside of China. The applicants are expected to have had made significant academic accomplishments and have notable potential for research and creativity. The successful candidates are expected younger than 40 years old. The job requirements listed above can be relaxed if the applicant had an exceptional performance in his/her research areas.

Salaries/ Benefits

(1) The job title of the position is Professor/Researcher and Ph.D. supervisor. The salary provided by HFUT is equal to a 3rd-degree Professor/Researcher (about 450,000 RMB (pre-tax) per annum). In the first employment period, an extra job performance benefit of 120,000 RMB (pre-tax) per annum shall be provided. This position is also entitled to other performance incentive policies.

(2) In the first employment period, a research fund of no less than 500,000 RMB shall be provided for STEM disciplines or no less than 200,000 RMB for non-STEM disciplines. The amount and the details of the research fund are negotiable.

(3) In the first employment period, a settle-in fee of 900,000 RMB (pre-tax) shall be provided.

(4) In the first employment period, temporary housing for faculty can be arranged (free rental for one year and other utilities at your own expense, or a rental allowance of 1,500 RMB/month for one year).

(5) The university may assist in arranging your spouse’s job and children’s school enrollment upon request.

●“Huangshan Scholar”Outstanding Young Scholar Position

Qualifications

This position is for introduced talents only. The applicants are expected to have had teaching and research-related jobs for more than two years continually after acquiring their Ph.D. degree. Or they are expected to have been working in the universities, research institutes, or other places with the position of associate professor for more than two years. The applicants are expected to have had made relatively significant academic accomplishments and have distinctive potential for research and creativity. The successful candidates are expected younger than 35 years old. The job requirements listed above can be relaxed if the applicant had an exceptional performance in his/her research areas.

Salaries/ Benefits

(1) The job title of the position will be Professor/Researcher and Master’s supervisor. The salary provided by HFUT is equal to a 4th-degree Professor/Researcher (about 400,000 RMB (pre-tax) per annum). In the first employment period, another job performance benefit of 100,000 RMB (pre-tax) per annum shall be provided. This position is also entitled to other performance incentive policies.

(2) In the first employment period, a research fund of no less than 300,000 RMB shall be provided for STEM disciplines or no less than 100,000 RMB for non-STEM disciplines. The amount and the details of the research fund are negotiable.

(3) In the first employment period, a settle-in fee of 700,000 RMB (pre-tax) shall be provided.

(4) In the first employment period, temporary housing for faculty can be arranged (Free rental for one year and other utilities at your own expense, or a rental allowance of 1,500 RMB/month for one year).

●“Huangshan Scholar”Academic Backbone Scholar Position

Qualifications

This position is for introduced talents only. The applicants are expected to have had acquired their Ph.D. degrees or have had worked in a teaching and research-related job for more than two years continually in universities, research institutes, companies, or other places. The applicants are expected to have had made good academic accomplishments and have good potential for research and creativity. The successful candidates are expected younger than 35 years old.

Salaries/ Benefits

(1) The job title of the position is Associate Professor/Associate Researcher and Master’s supervisor. The salary provided by HFUT is equal to an Associate Professor/Associate Researcher (about 260,000 RMB (pre-tax) per annum). In the first employment period, another job performance benefit of 30,000 RMB (pre-tax) per annum will be provided. This position is also entitled to other performance incentive policies.

(2) In the first employment period, a research fund of no less than 200,000 RMB shall be provided for STEM disciplines or no less than 50,000 RMB for non-STEM disciplines. The amount and the details of the research fund are negotiable.

(3) In the first employment period, a settle-in fee of 500,000 RMB (pre-tax) shall be provided.

(4) In the first employment period, temporary housing for young teachers can be arranged (Free rental for one year and other utilities at your own expense, or a rental allowance of 1,000 RMB/month for one year).

(5) The university may assist in arranging your children’s school enrollment upon request.

The benefits and salaries listed above are provided by Hefei University of Technology (HFUT) only, other supports from the government and the schools are not included.
